The library of the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney comprises approx. 6,000 books, over 600 DVDs (movies and documentaries) and several magazines and journals encompassing areas such as literature, narrative, history, arts, essays, music etc.

Access and consultation 
Access to the library is possible every day during the Institute's opening hours, i.e.:

Monday to Thursday: 10.00am-6.00pm
Friday: 10.00am-1.30pm

Books, magazines and audiovisual materials can be consulted by asking the library staff.

Loans and services 
Members and students of the Italian Cultural Institute can borrow books and audiovisual materials from the library.

The loan period is three weeks for books (max. 3 at the time) and one week for VHS's and DVDs (max. 2 at the time), and can be renewed by contacting the Institute either by telephone or by e-mail.
